Make sure your pet is insured ‘for life’
Some insurance companies only cover vet bills for the first 12 months of any illness, whereas others may have a maximum payout limit per illness. Be sure to check the small print to see how well you are covered.
Remember if you reach an illnesses’ payout limit, you may not be able to switch insurance companies, as they might not cover existing illnesses.
